Thank you for attending the 2012 Victoria Harbour Boat Show

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the 2012 Victoria Harbour Boat Show. Fabulous weather, a great layout, a variety of boats and YOU all helped to make this a great show!

This year we started working with the Laura Ballance Media Group (LBMG) in order to better market the show and increase attendance. LBMG provided essential public relations and marketing services and we were very pleased with the results. The marketing budget for the show was increased this year and LBMG focused on working with fewer advertising sources to really get the word out with a focus on promotional articles over standard advertisements. They worked with six newspapers including Black Press and Times Colonist and a local news station even dropped by the show!

The results are in and we are pleased to note that attendance was up 74% this year from 2100 in 2011 to 3676 in 2012! We look forward to continuing to raise the bar and hope to see you again in 2013!
